Ephesians 2:10
Mark 1-5
Exodus 20:8-11
Philippians 4:10-20
Being good stewards of what God has given to us, produces strong joy in our hearts. As believers, we have the opportunity to live with open hands and this produces two things in us: confidence and contentment in God’s provision and confidence and contentment in whatever situation we face.
Philippians 4:2-9
What constitutes "REAL PEACE"? It sounds so inviting to receive a peace that transcends all understanding. What is the nature of that and where does it come from?
Philippians 1:1-19
The world pulls us in many different directions and the call yet of Christ is to live a holy life with Him. What does righteous living look like and how can we daily deny the pull of the world and embrace the call of Christ? How can we live in a way that doesn’t communicate that we are better than the world, but perhaps different?
Philippians 2:12-18
There are specific ways that we can live our lives that will point people towards Christ. As the Church, we have a calling upon our lives to be set apart and to live differently. What does it mean to shine a light for Christ during difficult times? Living with the light of Christ in our lives will not only give us joy, but it will point others to do the same.
Philippians 2:1-7
Being united with Christ brings us together and unifies us with other like-minded Christians. The danger we face, is that the older we get and the more educated we become, we can build soapboxes to stand on, destroying our unity and joy. Significance in God’s kingdom is often founded upon two principles, humility and sacrifice and that is what Paul is calling us to here.
Philippians 1:12-22
When we understand the bigger perspective/picture of our situations, it often can give us endurance and joy to work through whatever it is that we are up against. It also often gives us a different vision for how to live our lives and what to aim our lives towards.
