The Emmanuel Promise book club will meet monthly from October 2024 through May 2025.
Journey with a group of women into the heart of attaching deeply to the Father.

Who: this group is open to any women age 18+
What: we will study the book, The Emmanuel Promise (by Summer Joy Gross). Participants need to purchase a copy of the book and commit to read sections of the book before each meeting. We will work our way through the book and apply the principles in practical, hands-on ways each time we meet.
Where: board room
When: Sundays, October 6, 27, Nov. 24, Dec 15//Jan 12, Feb 9, Mar 9 and April 13
Immediately following second service. (12:30-2:30) Bring your own bagged lunch.
Why: This group will help participants grow new attachments to the Father, to experience His presence with us through all of life's ordinary days and storms.

Synopsis of the book:
God's face is always shining toward us. Our God is not asleep nor indifferent. But we don't always experience His nearness or the depth of how belowed we truly are -- especially if we have experienced neglect, abandonment or emotional distance in our formative human relationships.

She teaches you simple, repeatable practices grounded in biblical teaching and our rich and ancient church traditions that will equip you day by day to build a secure attachment with the God who holds you in a sure hand.
