KidZone Nursery - Infant Care

"Jesus loves me, this I know..."

This song for young children demonstrates that children at an early stage develop a sense of God's love for them. Our nursery ministry is our first line of education for babies, working to develop a sense of trust and well-being when they attend with their parents. This trust is fundamental to faith in God and so we start by creating a loving atmosphere for young babies.
Our nursery ministry exists to serve children under three years of age during our Sunday morning service which begins at 10:30 a.m. We have a family approach to caring for our smallest attenders. We include parents on our staff and our door is always open to mom and dads involvement. We have a great selection of toys and activities to care for our babies and toddlers during church time.

Nursing

For those who like a calm place to nurse your infant during the service we offer a quiet area to breastfeed. Just stop by the nursery door and we'll set you up to relax and feed your baby!

KidZone PreSchool

Our Preschool program runs during the Sunday Service for kids ages 3 through Kindergarten. The children are to sit with their parents to participate in the opening part of the service, then they will be dismissed to KidZone PreSchool. Our program is designed to teach about Jesus and that each is important to Him. Each Sunday the children will hear a story from the Bible, sing songs and do a craft that relates to the Bible Story they heard.

KidZone Elementary

Our Elementary program also runs during the Sunday Service for Grade 1-5 children. During the opening part of the service the children will sit with their parents, then they will be dismissed to KidZone Elementary. Our program is age appropriate and will use the Scriptures to teach the children about Christ. A typical Sunday will revolve around a teaching moment taken directly from God's Word, they will also sing songs and do a craft that relates to the Bible Story they heard.

 

Plan to Protect

We LOVE children at UDAC and want to create a safe place for them to learn about God.
As a result, we actively screen the staff who work with our children. We train people on how to do programs for children in ways that are safe and secure for children and for adults who care for them. We also supervise the programs that we have in place for children to make sure that we are taking great care of our kids.
