Are you a young adult in Lethbridge? Want to know more about REACH young adult ministries at UDAC? You may be wondering why this message is first on our webpage and not last. At REACH, we value personal, face to face, person to person connection. Connect
This is the obvious first step for you. We want you to connect with us. If you are new and you breezed through the section before this “Connect with REACH” and did not call me or send me an email, make sure you do before leaving this page, alright? That is going to be your best first step in developing a natural connection with REACH young adult ministries.
After you have connected with me, I will help you get connected with the young adults at REACH. This natural next step is to come be a part of our weekly young adult group. We meet every Sunday, 7-9pm at UDAC, unless it is a holiday weekend.
From here, the ball is in your court: you decide for yourself how connected you want to be. If you want to go further with our group, here’s the next step:
Worship
Worship is the focus of what REACH is all about. It is the natural outpouring of who we are at University Drive Alliance Church. Everything we do is focussed on worshipping our God and Saviour, Jesus Christ. “Everything?” you ask yourself? “Wow, I can’t belong there, I’m not even close to focussing everything in my life on Jesus!” Let me tell you, if this is what you are thinking, REACH is exactly where you need to be. If you were perfect, we wouldn’t want you, because we would ruin you. We are all on a journey to finding Christ and placing him at the center of our lives. We want to journey with you in finding Christ and learning what it means to worship him with everything.
Serve
The next obvious and natural step at REACH is to serve. Once you have connected with our group, engaged in meaningful worship to God, then it will be entirely natural for you to serve in our community. When you get to this point, don’t waste a second. Come talk to me again, we’ll sit down and see how God has gifted you and place you somewhere you can use the gifts God has blessed you with. Service is simply an outward act of worship. It is evidence of God’s work in your life. Our vision and hope is that every young adult at REACH would get to this point, serving God as a natural reflex to worship.
