Come and join us April 27-29 at Island Lake Conference Center in the beautiful Crowsnest Pass. We will spend two days relaxing, sharing, eating and laughing as we explore the purses we carry as Christians. Topics such as Personal, Pursuing, Persuading, Perspective and Perservere…Are you carrying your purses with style? With a great line up of speakers, you are sure to be inspired and encouraged this weekend.
Registration forms are available now. Hurry, the early bird deadline is approaching soon – you have until March 25 to take advantage of the discount price ($120). After the deadline, the cost is $140. Please return all registration forms to mailbox #54 or Marina Grant. The final deadline for registration is April 8, 2012.

Ladies Craft Day

Come out and make 20 wonderful Christmas cards just in time for sending and only $25.00 for all the supplies you will need to complete them (except the adhesive). You can purchase an add-on for $15.00 and get double sided tape and dimensionals. Must be pre paid to hold your spot by November 10th. You will need to bring 5 family pictures for one of the cards in a 2 1/2′ by 3 1/2″ size. Please feel free to contact Angela Calvin if you have any questions.
As usual, our craft days are open to everyone who wants to come and work on their projects. It’s a great time to fellowship and finish up some of those Christmas gifts! We will be meeting in the Fellowship Room on November 26th from 9:30 till 4:00. Hope to see lots of ladies out this month!

Hello, Girlfriends!
Wishing you could get away for a mini-vacation? We’ve got your ticket!
Wonder Full World is an unforgettable travel-themed retreat the women of our church are doing together. It includes worship, Bible study, and time for laughter as well as time for quiet reflection.
At Wonder Full World we’ll “travel” to each of the seven continents. While there, we’ll explore wonders of a woman’s heart, such as “I wonder if I matter to God” or “I wonder where God is when life is hard.” We’ll find the answer to each of these questions in the Bible and discover more of God’s amazing love for us.
We’ll begin on the evening of Friday, April 29 and will finish by noon on Sunday, May 1, 2011. Our retreat will be held at Island Lake Conference Center (Crowsnest Pass). The cost is only $120 per person if you register by March 20! (Cost is $130 for all registrations received after March 20 and until April 10). This covers 4 delicious meals, fun and refreshing activities, and comfortable lodging for 2 nights!

Made – Created to make a difference

Ladies are invited to join us as we discover how we were created to make a difference. We will be meeting the first Monday of every month. For the next six months we will be working through a study called Made. Each evening will consist of a group time, coffee/tea break and an outreach project. From time to time, we may ask for donations to put towards the group project. Supply requests will be announced ahead of time, posted on the website and in the bulletin.

A little bit about the study: MADE reveals insight about your spiritual gifts, personality, and experiences and how God wants to use your custom design to impact the world. Join teacher and pastor, Jud Wilhite as he walks you through six biblical truths about serving and what it takes to make a meaningful difference in the world today. It’s easy to use your unique design to serve yourself. Jesus teaches another way. What do you care about? What occupies your heart and mind? Take a moment to examine your perspective.

Believers are given something they can’t give back. It doesn’t mean you have to use it, but maybe you should. The Body of Christ needs you like your body needs a heart and lungs. Again, you’re important to God’s plan.
GATHERING 4: You’re Not So Weird
Some like blue. Some like purple. Others want a checklist of things to do and some want to the freedom to let the day just happen. What’s your personality like? Did you know it’s meant to help you make a difference?
GATHERING 5: Let Go of Your Past
We work so hard to forget our past. We shove it, cram it, forget it, and try to overcome it. Have you ever thought that even your past, whatever that might include, is something that God can use to help you impact others and bring Him glory? Amazing, but true.
GATHERING 6: Live Out Loud
Life is meant to be full. Life is meant to be meaningful. Life is even meant to be loud. Don’t let another day go by without realizing how important it is to put it all together and make a difference for Him.
