How I became a Christian: Growing up in a moral loving home I believed we were tight with God because we were good people. At age 10 I was shown from the Bible that I am not compared to others but to God who is holy and perfect. That chasm could only be bridged by admitting my personal sin and asking for forgiveness based on Christ’s work and then accepting Him as Lord of my life. After I did that life hasn’t been easy but from God I have peace, forgiveness and purpose. Thank You Jesus!

Key Verse for this season of your life & why it touches you:
2 Tim. 2:15
Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a workman who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth.

This is one of my life verses and it expresses my belief that God’s Word is rich, pertinent and powerful.

Few people know that… the first time speaking in front of a large group I froze and had a mind blank two minutes into the talk. Because of my pride I hadn’t taken notes with me and ended up slinking out of the room. Quite invigorating (smile).
